How it works

One crew, one person to call, the scope in writing.

Walk the site

Call Jon. He comes out, walks the property with whoever is in charge, and looks at every tree, how the truck gets to it and what's close to it before he gives a price.

The scope in writing

  • Which trees, and what's being done to each
  • Whether stumps are ground, and how far down
  • What gets hauled away, and what stays as logs or firewood
  • Cleanup, and any grading or seeding

Questions businesses ask

Straight answers.

Do you work for businesses, HOAs and parks?

Yes. Recurring trimming for a business property in Columbus, a multi-week removal along a campus entrance done on weekends, lake community and playground trees. Jon schedules around your hours.

Do you clear lots, fence rows and rights of way?

Yes. Forestry mulching and clearing for fence rows, rights of way, building lots, hillsides and creek banks. Recent jobs run from a mile of horse fence to a three-acre thicket and a right of way 1,100 feet long.

Do you give written estimates?

Yes. Ask for the scope in writing: which trees, what work, stump or no stump, what's hauled away. That's what you should compare between any two quotes.

Can you work near power lines?

Jon has taken down trees grown into service lines and alongside high-voltage lines. If a line is down or touching the tree, the power company has to deal with the line first.

How soon can you come after a storm?

Emergency trees on houses, vehicles and roads come first, in order of danger. Everything else follows as fast as the crew can get there. After a big storm that can take days, but every call gets answered.
